Illinois is going the extra step for Human Trafficking Victims Under 18

Readers it is finally here, something which myself and many supportive colleagues have been focusing on for three years; updating Statute of Limitations for Child Sex Trafficking. The one person who is really doing the hard work in making this a reality is

Illinois State House Representative Jay Hoffman (D) Swansea. Jay_Hoffman_Headshot(1)_Web

The first fact I need every reader and leader to understand is that there is one particular misperception about the real crime of child sex trafficking in America; more often than not it is a parent or guardian who is exploiting or trafficking the child. This is a horrible fact I’m asking you to consider, but in Small Town America we usually don’t see Pimps, Working Girls on Street Corners, or the ‘Johns’ circling the block in their vehicles. We don’t have the inner city crime areas where others drive by picking and choosing from those standing almost naked in the freezing cold at three in the morning. We don’t have gangs of kids pushing drugs from the projects. We rarely have common acts of vandalism in the thousands of ‘safe’ communities across the country.

It is because we believe in the ‘safety’ of these communities that we don’t think about what happens inside the house or apartment or trailer next door. We figure our neighbors are all very ‘GOOD’ people because we see them at the grocery store, we see them at picnics, we see them at church, and our kids go to school with their kids, play school sports together, or hang out at the public pool together. However, let me be perfectly clear when I share a few more facts with you.

Children’s Bureau, National Child Abuse and Neglect Data Systems 2011- 1 in 9 confirmed cases of child sexual abuse.

Centers for Disease 2013 estimates 1 in 4 children living with maltreatment or abuse in America

National Human Trafficking Resource Center confirms 70% of Prostitutes reported Child Sexual Harm

NO PERSON DREAMS OF BEING A PROSTITUTE WHEN THEY GROW UP – this is something that is done out of survival; either being forced by control and threats or physical harm by someone or the aftermath destruction of leaving an abusive home and a life influenced by drugs, degradation, and sex.

I was born in small town rural America, raised in these ‘safe’ communities, and grew up to become a wife and mother living within a ‘safe’ suburb so my children could be safe. Most in the town of Freeburg knew my mother and stepfather well; they each had their own reputations. My stepfather the violent and depraved alcoholic and my mother playing the poor victim and woman who had to tolerate him as a husband.

This was not the truth, or at least about my mother anyway. My mother pretty much handed me over to Malcolm like a piece of property she signed over in a prenuptial agreement. By the time I was ten he could dominate me, stalk me, molest me, and then started using me and sharing me with other men that he knew or worked with at the local coal mine. Sometimes he took me to the area bar and pawned me off for a couple glasses of beer, other times he took me to private locations with more than one or two men involved. Mother allowed him to take me along on their dates and then use me as bait to lure some guy in who would by our table drinks and dance with her as she allowed her husband to rub himself against me on a public dance floor. She permitted him to enter me into some bathing beauty ‘Miss Peabody’ pageant at thirteen and then started allowing him to invite five or more men over for late-night parties with alcohol, weed, and porn; entertained by her young daughter as she lay in her room watching TV or reading a book.

My mother was not threatened to allow any of this, in fact Malcolm would have and did do anything my mother requested. Yes, he was a very mean drunk, but not once did I ever hear him so much as raise his voice at her, much less threaten her or dominate her. If the things she permitted to happen to me would have been something he did to her, and if she was treated with such constant control and physical violence; if any of the cruelties against her middle daughter would have been committed against her I know she would have moved on to the next man who was willing to take care of her.

This is how most cases of Rural Area Child Sex Trafficking in America really happens and the escalation of cruelty that encircles the life of these young victims. As children they don’t quite understand what or why these horrible terrifying things are happening and it will probably take decades before they can finally process all the darkness and distortions caused by the parent or parents responsible for their care; for giving them life, but destroying their spirit. These young persons, who can be of any age, are used, shared, sold and bartered for shelter, drugs, and possibly even money. It happened in my case and I know a couple hundred adult survivors and rescued teens who have endured these small town secret crimes without help or hope, just trying to make it through so they can get big enough to escape.

These are the types of offenses we must stand strong against as communities. We must rally our law enforcement, our healthcare providers, our educators, and our neighbors to be a voice for a child or a family in distress. The internal suffering of these silenced and ignored young victims is a haunting with repercussions that affect many aspects of their forming and adult life patterns and behaviors, which then becomes a burden to citizens by the estimated $145 Billion per year economic deficit to provide recovery and rebuilding services, along with many other challenges.

    • Employment Difficulties
    • Mental, Dental, and Medical Healthcare
    • Early Disability from PTSD, Depression, Permanent Injury
    • Immediate & Longterm Life Skills & Recovery Support
    • Criminal Justice & Legal Services
    • Homelessness & Shelter Services
    • Addictions & Self Harming Behaviors

Way too often and much too common, as discussed with a few hundred advocates & survivors; the guilt and shame of these brutal acts is like a brainwashing, ‘training’, ‘conditioning’ that our adult relationships are challenged and our families suffer as they see the emotional turmoil roll through like an evil snake of destruction. We stand for the rights of so many different causes today; Rights for LGBTQ, Muslims, Christians, Animals, and Trees – it’s time to stand up for the Rights & Safety of our American Children.

VOTING – YES for HB3629 – Illinois becomes one of the many states updating Criminal & Civil Statutes for the crime of Human Trafficking, Trafficking in Persons, Involuntary Servitude of a Child, Involuntary Sexual Servitude of a Minor. By voting YES – HB3629 we give these young victims time to grow so they understand what happened, time to heal from the layers of trauma, time to actually accept what their parent or caretaker has done or allowed others to do against them.

ITS TIME FOR A WIDE-AWAKE RALLY!!

wideawake1

Wide – Awakes, bands of young men who joined in the small villages and big cities across the nation in the rally to elect Republican Presidential Candidate Abraham Lincoln and fight to end slavery, providing freedom and equality of our individual right to be safe.

“Young Men for War”: The Wide Awakes and Lincoln’s 1860 Presidential Campaign; Jon Grinspan, Journal of American History, 96 (Sept. 2009), 357–78

Young men from Bangor to San Francisco and from huge Philadelphia clubs to tiny Iowa troupes donned uniforms, lit torches, and “fell in” to pseudo-military marching companies. They flooded every northern state and trickled into upper South cities like Baltimore, Wheeling, and St. Louis. Launched in March by “five young dry goods clerks” in Hartford, Connecticut, by November the Wide Awakes had developed into a nationwide grassroots movement with hundreds of thousands of members. Many of the movement’s supporters—and even some of its vociferous opponents—believed “there never was, in this country, a more effective campaign organization than the Wide Awakes.”[2]

You know, Abraham Lincoln was the first American President to bring equality under the law to our society, but he is also the first person to see how outrageous it was to harm another human being in such violent and brutal manners. Sadly when we see inside the control of our homes there is often a dominance struggle, which can become quite dangerous and even become the most dangerous place in the world for many of our children.

What if Abraham Lincoln was here fighting for the end of Family Crimes and acts of Terroristic Abuse against those unable to protect themselves, run away, or escape the insanity of their constant threatening life? What would you say to him as he wonders about the equal rights our country has continued to fight for all these years? Would President Lincoln talk to us about the day he saw 50,000 soldiers laying dead in a field because they were fighting to provide equal protections for all human beings, without regard to race?

We already fought and created this great country on the basis to have FREEDOM, freedom from the reign of others, freedom of our own religions, freedom to seek a happy life without the threat or fear of having our freedoms taken away.  How many soldiers have continued sacrificing their lives to secure or provide a path to freedom in other countries around the globe?

HOW SAD WE KEEP FAILING TO PROVIDE OR PROTECT THE RIGHT TO BE SAFE; TO BE FREE FROM HARM AND FREE FROM FEAR WITHIN OUR HOMES AND FAMILIES. Since the creation of mankind women and children (all genders) who are constantly dismissed because those who harm them are their parents, partners, family. These offenses are often silenced through vicious threats and acts of grievous harm to ensure the victims feel too ashamed to speak up and too afraid that no one will be there to help them. Generation after generation we teach silence and protecting our abusers, our family attackers, year after year. Now is when we ask you to be WIDE AWAKE in the desperate mission to end the repeated acceptance and silence of these pandemic numbers of persons affected by these challenges. Are you WIDE AWAKE to end Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse against those persons within our homes, especially in the protection of all children.

Thank you.

Stand with us today friends, it’s time for another WIDE –AWAKE rally to help ensure we address the continuing pandemic harm of persons within our homes, especially our children. Help our society learn to discuss the severe nature of family crimes and the extreme harm inflicted. Help our children and youth believe they have a right to be safe, that no one has a right to attack them or threaten their lives, no one has a right to touch them sexually, use them in forced servitude, sell them and exploit them for acts of depraved sexual harm. Please help us request a Federal Level Review and implement updates to old laws when dealing with the vicious nature of Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse – Help end the suffering and inspire a new view in prevention, intervention, prosecution, restitution, and recovery services – Click here to sign our petition – If you’ve already signed please pass it on through your networks.

We want to initiate the Wide Awake Rally to end Family Crimes today!!

Will we just keep counting the bodies……..

Interview courtesy of: WCIAtv, reporter Jessica Kunz

This is a fabulous interview and friends I am extremely grateful for the past few months of interviews I’ve been blessed to take part in; this one by Jessica and two others with Investigative Reporter, Eric Steltzer WANDtv.com (links for these two interviews listed below). My concern however; can someone possibly explain to me why we would rather just keep counting the bodies of the millions of children harmed everyday by family sex trafficking or family terroristic abuse and torment; keep counting the lives of millions destroyed by these acts every year rather than addressing the issue head-on?

Dammit I’m FURIOUS!!! I’ve handled just about all of the authoritative rejection I can possibly deal with on this issue. These past 5 years have been spent channeling as much energy as possible in providing education, awareness, activism, and advocating for the individual basic right to be safe, especially for our children. Many other outstanding advocates have either teamed up with me personally, or have done their own exhaustive advocating on the very serious pandemic numbers which continue to climb above 3.5 million every year, and those are just the numbers of child maltreatment reports. However, because of the mandates, which are not updated to address the hidden trauma behind the family terroristic nature of the abuse to force a child to remain silent and simply endure whatever it is their parent continues to dish out on them day after day, year after year, until they are old enough to get away or they end up self destructing. Sadly many thousands of these wounded souls commit suicide every year, because the trauma is just too severe to overcome and the heavy burden of shame and silence refuses to be addressed by those in our community and our politicians who have the power to create the changes needed to save their lives.

Yes, I’ve used my own personal story, but I don’t feel its my right to discuss someone else’s history. Also the nature of my very public and well known family sex trafficking, exploitation, terrorized slavery, and disfiguring neglect is really one of the most extreme cases I’m aware of, as is with a few other survivors, but none to the public knowledge that mine exceeded in our small rural community.  However, rest assured my goal is NOT for personal gain, but rather to create one of the strongest untied stands across the country in our human history to ensure that these crimes STOP NOW!!

I’ve been shut down by the Illinois Dept of Public Health, stating my story was too graphic and although April’s conference in Peoria was for the qualified trained professionals on Women’s Health and Family Wellness; I was told I needed to tune back my story and reduce the graphic nature of those 30+ years in hell. They had professionals declining to attend my presentation because it was just more than they could possibly handle. Do they realize that children are still suffering in these tragedies everyday? Do they realize that if they do not face it and discuss it, they will NEVER get a child to discuss it with them? Do they realize that by refusing to listen for one hour as I talk about the actions of Family Crimes and the extreme trauma involved when the acts have been committed with complete malice, in a form of terroristic nature, for the sole purpose of silencing the child and preventing them from ever feeling safe enough to talk about these ugly secrets, thus preventing any criminal charges against the parents who commit and allow these grievous acts? Do they realize the continue teaching of shame, rejection, and of course, SECRET KEEPING they enforce when they as trained healthcare professionals cannot handle listening to a one hour presentation which will help them spot and treat, assess and assist a victim of any age trapped in these vicious attacks?

Last October, I teamed up with a personal friend and the Legal Advocacy Director for Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois. I had been working on a proposal to address the very serious crimes within our family unit and the terroristic nature in which they were constantly kept secret and silent. Lisa Chilton and I took the proposal to Illinois House Representative Jay Hoffman, then to Illinois States Attorney Brendan Kelly, and in late February I was notified that ‘terroristic’ was not the proper or acceptable word to use, and out of ten guidelines in the proposal they were ready to introduce a measure to change the Statute of Limitations for a barrage of criminal sexual offenses against a child, including involuntary sexual servitude. The measure House Bill #3242 was going to change our S.O.L. from 1 year after victims 18th birthday, to 20 years, which would allow the victims time to first escape the parental control and then go through the very long and grieving process of accepting what had actually happened, then they could bring forth criminal charges by the time they were 38 years old. However, when I emailed Representative Hoffman last week about a date they would be introducing this bill, I received what seemed to me, a proper political email; “I regret to inform you we had other bills processed and decided not to address this issue at this time, but rest assured I am determined to stand behind your cause.” I really do not mean to offend Representative Hoffman, IL Dept of Public Health, or any other of our legislators or our state and national resources, but I certainly would like to ask, ‘When will the body count be serious enough for our systems to finally take a very public stand and address what changes need to be implemented to ensure we are doing our very best; not only protect the individual rights of our children, all victims to be safe, but also update our public policy on how we assess, assist, and investigate every report of maltreatment made across the country?’

There is another person whom I’ve partnered with, Dana Pfeiffer, Director of Grounds of Grace a nonprofit resource assisting victims of human trafficking, terroristic abuse, and other related family crimes around Central Illinois, including our State Capital of Springfield where the amazing President Lincoln began his strongest political campaign, which later led to the equal rights to FREEDOM for all persons. The Emancipation Proclamation granting freedom for all persons to be seen equal in the eyes of our laws, without regard to race, religion, gender, and age. These are our basic Human & Civil Rights, written into law by our United Nations General Assembly in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and our own American Constitution; in fact it is the basic freedoms our country was founded on but yet we still can’t truly stand up for those rights, especially when it comes to our children and the desperate destruction happening within our families every single day.

Dana Pfeiffer and I have teamed up in speaking engagements as I present my history and what I advocate for today, she is right by my side validating the serious crimes she helps victims escape committed by their family, most commonly their parents. The numbers she assists continues to climb, victims as young as 2 years old to 68 years old. When I address people in authority, or in any setting, about the serious nature of my case, it is not for your pity. I don’t need your pity and absolutely DO NOT WANT YOUR PITY. I’ve survived and my life is very good today. I am safe, I am loved, and if my children and grandchildren weren’t still dealing with the emotional staining from those acts that distorted and destroyed the safe path in my life; my life today would actually be quite perfect.

However, what I do hope those who hear my story, or read ‘My Justice’, will take from all of the extreme vicious and very public nature of exploitation, sex trafficking, terrorized slavery, and the disfiguring neglect of all basic human needs; I WANT YOUR ACTION. We need to ensure not another single person is abandoned and judged as I was throughout the six consecutive years of family friends, school teachers, neighbors, adult men and boys who got their own special time with the child, the law enforcement who knew me well and didn’t care at all that my skin was rotting and filth covered because I could not even safely bathe in my home. Every person in Freeburg, Illinois knew my family, knew my mother;‘POOR WOMAN, having to deal with such a horrible man’.

Guess what towns people, she didn’t deal with him at all, cause he was like a comforting blanket who kissed the ground she walked on. He would have done anything for her, and he did leave my brother and sister alone, but me; I was his target. I was his to do with as he pleased, she not only sacrificed me for him to do with as he pleased, but she also abandoned all basic human needs, ordered me to care for, cook for, and provide for the family needs, she purchased him a little brass bell that only I was expected to answer to at all times. The citizens of Freeburg either witnessed, took part in, or saw the very public destruction of a young growing girl and tagged her as the ‘Village Whore’, rather than try to help her. When I reached out today asking those in public office, those in media who have the ability to share this story, those who fight for protective rights and those in every small community; still all I have felt is that same sense of disregard I lived with all my life. No one cared when it was my parents. No one reported the many years of almost murderous attacks and beatings in my relationships and marriages. Neighbors, police, and healthcare all dismissed the horrific nature of my daily life and figured I didn’t deserve their help then, and apparently the continuing climbing numbers of those speaking about these past decades in hell, they are all getting those same closed doors as I am today.

When I write, do interviews, or even the creation of our petition addressing Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse (link below for you to sign now), what I want, what all of the hundreds of survivors hope to achieve in sharing our voices today; we want to inspire every healthcare worker, every educator, every community member to notice the warning signs of the desperate victims and rather than abandon them and judge them for the disgusting behavior or promiscuous nature of their acts, HELP THEM!! Maybe you’ll be the one to rescue them; to give them a chance to heal their wounds, learn the positive behaviors and become better parents for their children. It’s easy to look at a family or a person, pass our taught nature of judgment and then turn away and do nothing, but it takes great courage to say that every life matters and EVERY CHILD DESERVES TO BE SAFE!!!

I don’t understand why, throughout our entire human existence, the authorities who have the power to do something simply disregard the serious body count related to suicide, murder, and self destruction from these vicious and disgusting acts, especially when committed against a helpless child who cannot fight back, cannot run away; they can only endure in silent tears the shameful brutal crimes committed against them by their parents and family. I really do not understand why we do not step up and scream out; ‘THAT’S IT, THIS IS NOT THAT CHILD’S CRIME AND SHOULD NOT BE THAT CHILD’S BLAME’!!

How many more centuries will people have to endure these types of attacks within their homes, by their parents or their partners, then walk away filled with pain and terror, while the offenders are protected by the forced ugly secrets of torture and trafficking, or they walk away with a slap on the wrist rather than the harshest punishments deserving of their actions? It is their choice to attack and terrorize, especially when they are attacking and forcing a child into dark secrets and a life filled with destructive behaviors and continued shame in the feeling of not being worth saving. We have hundreds of documented studies which reveal how a life in traumatic events and vile attacks impacts the lives of individuals. We have studies confirming the frontal lobe brain development impaired and twisted by the repeated years trying to survive and making daily decisions based on what they need to do in order to just survive that day. We have the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, the Centers for Disease and Control, National Domestic Violence Hotline, Prevent Child Abuse America and many other outstanding organizations which hold rallies, they help victims recover and rebuild their lives; yet we cannot get a public policy legislator to truly address and make it their public platform to face the very serious pandemic numbers which continue to soar above three million reports every single year. I’m tired of counting the bodies, I’m disheartened by the lack of public concern and the constant avoidance of the direct issues. Constantly I pray that someday all that happened to me, and many other millions like me, will one day matter to those who have the power to mandate our laws and protect the very precious right to simply BE SAFE!! The rights to be free; free from harm and free from fear. One day we will protect the rights of every human being to be safe, no matter who is harming them. What worries me most, is how many lives will it cost us before we actually begin implementing the changes needed to ensure we are doing the very best for our children’s future tomorrow.

Let’s stop counting the bodies and do something about the crimes!!

Terroristic Abuse is a violation against written articles of our Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Hello readers,

This email & blog blast has a very strong defined mission;

PLEASE HELP ME REACH;

GENERAL ASSEMBLY COMMISSION OF UNITED NATIONS

U.S. President Barack Obama

To the Political Powers that be, there is a small group of us here in Illinois who need you to pay attention to a very serious issue happening right here in our country and around the world – Terroristic Abuse

‘Terroristic Abuse’ is committing acts of a criminally vile and extremely detrimental physical, psychological, or sexual trauma to maintain physical, mental, or sexual control of another being; detrimental believed sense of certain physical, sexual harm or even death if they speak to another person about the harm or reveal they are or have been terrorized to protect their attackers dominance and never revealing their attacker’s true depraved nature to others.

There is a deeply wounded sense within this attacker, but it is their right to choice, that is a violation over their victims right to be safe, believe in the Universal Right to life, liberty, and security of person. The ‘terrorist attacker’ has the most sense of dominance when they live with their victims. They act out depraved sexual fantasy against a child or possibly believe they have a right to sell, trade, use, or own their victim in actions of human trafficking. It is a deep sense of psychological captivity as defined in ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ and other such articles of distinction.

‘Terroristic Abuse’ is used to silence victims, often into adulthood, because a part of that child victim, or adult in extreme harmful situations and relationships, is psychologically trained to be a victim, bow to every command, and not reject any act approached or forced on the victim by the other dominating personality. These violent and threatening actions prevent their victims from accessing help, speaking to anyone, even traps them from revealing any harm, therefore preventing any prosecution, criminal or civil liability for the attackers personal choice to constantly inflict extreme sense or direct grievous bodily injury or possible death in the mind and control of their victims.  Often committed by those within our home for a very direct purpose; allow the predator to act out their vicious dominance over another person, (via acts of child sex trafficking, enforced slavery, use of weapons and other forms of physical or psychological inflicted fear, influencing a believed sense of certain death if the victim does not comply to every demand given to them every single day).

These traumatically injuring acts become a believed war zone for the direct victim, along with others who live in the same household. Everyone does what they believe will protect them from direct harm. The dominance and constant believed sense of death, a live-in in type of stalking to terrorize and show dominance over their victim’s next living moment is to ensure the ‘FAMILY TERRORIST’ is never held responsible for the life long struggles of true safety within our person and sometimes extreme psychological impairments on their victims. This has been proven by many tests and reviews by our; Centers for Disease and Control, National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute of Health, Department of Health & Human Services, National Child Traumatic Stress Network and many other quality educated resources. PubMed articles have been written and shared as specific educational & psychological proof of the Frontal Lobe Brain Development Impairments of a child who lives through such extreme grievous harm and fear. These types of ‘terroristic abuse’ is not only immoral but when inflicted to take dominance and control over another person, their victims will likely represent with an adult life of many chronic physical & emotional illnesses. The constantly hidden threat becomes a very personally wounding and distorting impact and will often silence many for their entire lives. When this becomes your normal you are in a way, lost in the painful distortions of your life, yet you have no idea how to address it or get help. You know as a victim how horrible you feel inside, yet the world says its nothing. To your inner sense as human being you constantly battle with thoughts of; ‘This is wrong’, ‘I hate myself so much’, ‘I need to die to escape this hidden pain’. As human beings we have created generation after generation of these types of harmed individuals. Our world and our small communities, even our family members and coworkers all believed we are damaged goods and the more grievous the harm and constant sense of believed death, the more difficult it becomes to manage the entire scope of internal personal pain and dysfunctions, which we then live in, raise children in and it then becomes their normal and the cycle continues forward.

As a Human Society we must absolutely address these violations against the direct human right to personal sense of security and the rights to live as a human being without constantly inflicted fear, dominance, sexual or physical control, over our direct existence despite age, race, religion, geographical or other form of human being rights to life, liberty, and safety. In our modern day society our children are exploding with anger on the streets, in their schools, acts of suicide are higher than ever before in history; we have created generations of individuals who have no clue what true safety of liberty of life really is; no idea what its like to truly be free. Survivors of terroristic enforced pain and harm, as prisoners of war, or in the trapped victim in the house down the street; they grow into adults with a deep seeded trained sense of  secret dysfunctions or anger over their constant fear from the CRIMINAL ACTS & VIOLATIONS AGAINST THEM, especially if they are a child or youth without the lived or learned knowledge that they understand their personal right to always be safe in their person and the right to justice, support, and recovery assistance as provided by the attackers financial and total worth responsibility via property forfeiture, or other financial ability.

On December 10th, 1948; First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was a member of the United Nations General Assembly Commission who approved and released into every print form for educational or awareness knowledge the

UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

PREAMBLE

Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,

Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

In the listed human rights, you will find Articles 1 – 8 of this published document as shared from the publication via United Nations Documents, (UDHR), copyright United Nations 2015, requested republication of this share to the direct immediate attention of our United Nations for their expressed written consent has been approved by Johnson Gathia
United Nations Publications

Today we really need to get this written blog alert out to every being around the world and across the United States;

We beg your assistance here today in reaching out to address the legal and civil liabilities of ‘Terroristic Abuse’ as an extremely detrimental act against our Universal Declaration of Human Rights and should be held as a violation of the most serious nature by every criminally & civilly protective rights & justices across the United States and around the world. No longer can we continue to tell the generations of human beings that their given human rights to SAFETY & SECURITY FOR EVERY BEING is to be left under the sole control of an adult, parent or other party; that their right to life & liberty as an individual being does not include the right to SAFETY & PROTECTIONS.

For your reading knowledge I have added the links to published articles by our CDC, NIMH, NIH, NCTSN about the many wounding impacts of these trauma wounding and life altering criminal actions.

Thanks readers and I hope you all do your research as I have here as well as the many excellent resources and researchers noted in these references.

Remember; acknowledging there are ‘terrorists’ who want to control our governments and our human beliefs around the world is not so hard to accept, neither are the acts of extreme grievous acts against other beings, even more disheartening in our United States are the sad attacks of violence on our streets, in our schools, and erupting in repeated human trafficking rings and the parental offenders we send to jail everyday. We must accept the childhood traumas and acts of extreme family violence, which are indeed no less than acts of extreme ‘terroristic abuse’, which can and does exist within an estimated (1 in 10) homes across the country. These numbers are based on a few specific statistics which I’ve researched time and time again.

You’ll find documents, studies, and PubMed Articles attached and if you like visit www.butterflydreamsabuserecovery.com for full page of personal resources of survivors whom I’ve talked with, interviewed, and reviewed information shared in our recovery journey together; living the dysfunctions of our lives and impacting the lives of our children and grandchildren. Today there are an estimated 40 million plus adult survivors of child sexual abuse, even more of other forms of maltreatments, in our American society I can prove through researching statistical reports prepared by; Department of Health & Human Services on Child Maltreatment 2011;

One in THREE children are being harmed in some way everyday across the country, not all is terroristic acts of abuse, but most certainly One in Ten reports are of sexually abusive harm of a child. Are you ready to take the chance that it won’t be that bad, that terrifying, that horrific? What would it take to make you accept this grievous harm to you?

Be aware of outward signs of trauma, educate yourself on the silent signs of these vicious ‘terroristic acts of abuse’ many children have no choice but to endure every single day, waiting for someone to reach out and help them find safety & security in their person.

Thank you for reading & sharing. Hopefully you’ll help us reach out further. We need the united support of all adult beings. Let’s ask our United Nations & United States Government to accept and draw into law the truth of the ‘Family Terrorist’ as written and published in ‘Trecia’s Law’.

Respectfully,

Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery

Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery.

Hi everyone, are you aware that most of the Domestic Child Sex Trafficking cases occur by the direction of a family member, more specifically usually parents. Its actually quite tragic that the child doesn’t even realize they are being trafficked until many years later. A child’s mind, especially the young children, are first going to go with any person their parents say, that’s just the way it is. Over the years they are conditioned, but by the time they reach 12 or so, they become defiant or they get used to the fact there is nothing they can do to stop the insanity, they are trapped and they want to die. It happens every day here in the United States but no one is ready to accept this truth of mankind’s depravity. What’s even worse is when we say we are Christians, say we are one who truly cares, but yet turn away and pretend the cruelty or over abundance of attention given to one direct child by one or two direct individuals, be suspicious and let your gut guide you through. Help the children who do not have a say in this part of the path in their lives, but yet by the time they grow to escape this insane reality of their existence; the damage is deep and the path is set. How many more will we ignore in our human society simply because we’re just not sure yet how to handle it. It is an epidemic and if it were  or other form of illness, we would be waving flags of rescue & assistance. Please friends, be aware of how dark it often gets within the households of our society. There are no boundaries, not economical, not geographical, not religious, not anything at all. ANYONE CAN BE A VICTIM OF ANOTHER, ANYONE CAN BE AN OFFENDER – just always remember the perfect reputation and community status of

What can we do in our family unit to be sure this doesn’t happen to a child in your life’s circle……

Ask a survivor of forced familial child trafficking; how can we ever end these atrocities within our family unit?

As a survivor of this vicious act against children, I have shared my voice publicly through training seminars, various speaking venues, including the Speakers Bureau for Southwestern Illinois Rescue & Restore Human Trafficking Coalition; Panel Speaker for St. Clair County Illinois Domestic Violence Reform Program; Prosecuting Attorneys Association Of Michigan’s Annual Victims Advocate Training. You will also find me through many web based radio program interviews, and anywhere I am given the opportunity.

It’s only after these past ten years spent in recovery, rebuilding, and training to assist other victims, that I am finally able to face many of the evil nightmares which have haunted and held me silent with shame & disgust. The fact that my mother and stepfather encouraged, allowed, and actually invited groups of grown men to come into our home for late night parties with their young developing child; the daughter well trained to tolerate such ugly acts; it is still a troubling part of my history. In truth I had to accept the complete disregard I suffered throughout twelve long years of repeated molestations, beatings, rape, physically scarring neglect, and at the age of eleven my stepfather began his most favorite activity; he commonly sold or traded me out for sick pleasure or the price of a couple of beers.

This all sounds extreme and you may not want to believe it all; however, back then it was all a ‘normal’ process for me and something my mother and stepfather did on a regular basis. How was I supposed to know I had any other value as a human being or that I could refuse what was enforced by the parents who had all the control of my very survival? It was a common practice on late Friday night for groups of men, coworkers at Peabody Underground #1 in Freeburg, Illinois; to come to our house for the entertainment of molesting and sharing a young child. When I speak today I use my voice to raise the dark curtain about how those who are in our family, protected by their given parental rights, then use us and destroy us through deviate acts they insist we endure. Remember, a child has no voice that others actually respect. Sadly this was true back in the 1970’s and although it may be slowly changing; it is a way we teach our children through family secrets and tolerance today.

I grew up in a small quiet town located in Southwestern Illinois. For nine consecutive years I attended the same school district and lived in the very center of town. It was during these years I was given as property to be my stepfather’s play toy and trained to be his ‘child prostitute’ from the age of about nine years old. This is just a few years after my mother willingly married the devil; a man whose own son had warned her about his evil. When he came into my life the value I had as a person, the happiness I felt as that innocent little girl; all of it was gone. My mother’s complete disregard for her own child, the neglect of all basic human needs or any form of medical or dental care led to rot, filth, and permitting her husband to destroy all that was good in her bright blue eyed little girl. This permitted destruction created a path of self loathing and an intense need to die; this is what I carried within the hidden secrets for most of my life. This type of disgusting abuse and disregard of a child is something we don’t forget, something we can never just erase from our existence; it is who we see in the mirror and the part of us we come to hate.

My mother permitted his acts and actually sacrificed her middle child to this monster for him to use however and whenever he chose. She ignored her own daughter and as he took over control of my life, she chose to treat me as less than human. Our family had the best health insurance back then, but yet the only time I ever saw a doctor was to be put on birth control at fifteen. She permitted, and the community who knew me so well watched, as he began taking me to bars and then eventually started collecting a few dollars from every adult man who wanted to come to our house for the late night entertainment. The men were allowed to get me high, feed me alcohol until I could hardly walk, then trade me from lap to lap as they probed and used the child who should have been sleeping for school the next morning. He took me out to tugboat parties with the workers he met at his common bar stop where my mother worked. My parents took me on their private dates and looked for adult men who wanted to be entertained by the child who was then just twelve years old. My stepfather repeatedly through parties at our house where schoolmates were invited for marijuana and alcohol, then as always; I was the prize & entertainment. Some of these nights included me giving everyone oral sex or allowing them to take me into my own bed. The price of refusal was a beating or his own sadistic acts as I lay in fear each night. I still have nightmares today about these parties, especially when it was more than one single person at a time, but I have learned through research & therapy my stepfather was a sociopath and my mother a narcissist; neither of whom could care less about what they did to this one middle child. in fact I believe their comment when I spoke with them both about all that had happened was simply, ‘You got what you deserved.”

The school personnel of Freeburg, the law enforcement, family friends, and even schoolmates who had been lured into his dark circle of trafficking his stepdaughter; they all knew who I was and who my parents were, yet not a single person ever questioned my care. There were many who avoided any physical contact with the child whose skin was covered with ugly puss filled sores, which left me today with deep pitted ugly scars. They said nothing about the rotting, broken black fangs, hanging in my mouth, which should have been my young beautiful smile. They saw vicious bruises and witnessed beatings in the street or heard the screams from my house as he beat me for the slightest infraction or late response to answer the ring of that little brass bell; all were signs of extreme abuse and evil against this one little girl growing up in the middle of this family, yet not a single person felt I was worth saving or heard my silent screams for rescue.

The reason I am sending this out now is because I have done a lot of work in my recovery, but unfortunately the trafficking has been the most difficult part of healing. This dark training of permitting multiples of men & boys to use and probe the child I was; it all created a lifelong pattern of extreme violence and degradation from boyfriends & husbands. I endured more than thirty years of severe physical battery, which almost ended in death more than once or twice. Through these vicious relationships I was threatened with weapons, attempted drowning, strangulations, concussions, broken ribs, broken collar bones and constant fear. The impact of living in these types of relationships, eventually left its own twisted pain and fear in my children’s lives. It wasn’t until my oldest child was fourteen years old that I finally found the courage to fight for my life and give my children the safe, loving home they deserved. They had spent their young years watching and hiding as their mother was beaten beyond recognition and repeatedly told how ugly, stupid, and useless she was. Today my children still see a lot of those same horrible things in the woman who loves them more than life itself. I have watched as the evil inflicted against the little girl I used to be, has crept through the veins of my bloodline and invaded the lives of my children; today they suffer in their own dysfunctional relationships. It is now in trying to parent their children and develop safe, healthy lives, that they are repeating some of those same behaviors which had become so ‘normal’ for them.

Above I have attached a photo of myself along with a picture of the memoir I published back in 2011, sharing my voice for the very first time and explaining to my children why their world was so disrupted by all the repeated vicious attacks and disregard of just one human life. The story, ‘My Justice’, is a true account of what happened in the protective window of family. It is a written apology to my children for how the trained acceptance of these crimes was such a huge part of my life; actually was my life.

In my healing I have become a strong advocate for those crimes which exist within our homes and our family unit. However, our modern day society, even with all of the many extremes we have learned to accept on our televisions, in our neighborhoods, and on our streets, it’s sad to accept that no one seems to want to acknowledge or speak about these issues. If we as adults cannot speak openly, without the feeling of shame and fear of judgment from others, then how are we to empower our kids to know we will help them, we understand, and they have nothing to fear? It is crucial for the adults in our communities to remain vigilant and take the initiative to prevent these acts of harm so commonly overlooked. Our society can no longer trade out our children for drugs, food, beer or for the sick pleasure of deviate thoughts. These are people’s souls we are destroying and when the circle of family friends, teachers, and others in these small communities blame and condemn the child victim, see them as less worthy rather than reporting and helping to rescue that child, then we are partly responsible for the destruction of who that person should grow up to become.

Today we are a new generation in charge and we know just how dark the dangers inside our homes can become. We have study after study about the many emotional disorders left on the child victim. Most often the adults who grow up inside this pattern of life, which many can never seem to escape; they live in an aftermath of Complex P.T.S.D, Depression, Anxiety, and extreme personality disorders that require treatment and medications, which usually cannot be afforded by the survivor. The burden of these healing treatments become the responsibility of our society, which is estimated by Center for Disease & Control at approximately $124 BILLION in the lifetime recovery cost of a survivor today. You can review a report on Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery which is research from the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data Systems, (NCANDS). This report, along with the allowance announced by Congress,(For every one report that is made of child maltreatment & sexual harm, there are at least three others that are not.); in the balance of this report it proves that at least 1 in 3 children are being forced to endure the brutal acts in heavy silence & family secrets every single day in the U.S. alone.

It is now that our children need us to hear their voices more than ever before. We already have generations of dysfunctional parents wounded by these vicious ugly acts, so when will it be enough that we finally begin a true active prevention within every family circle, every small community school, every law enforcement training, and most definitely throughout our entire medical provider services. We must begin to spot the silent children who endure every single day in the terror of their parents or other close family members. This support and strategic planning of protection for all children will only be possible when we stand strong as a united human society; making the choice today to teach value in every person, and empower every child to believe they deserve safety, love, happiness and that we will end the acceptance of these violent crimes within our very homes.

I do hope you will check out the website and organization of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery to find out more about my story and the stories of many others like myself. You will find a campaign we are leading to create your own ‘Family Defender’. It is with a prayer that you will hear my voice and help the many developing grass roots resources provide an understanding of just how common it is for those in our home to be the most dangerous to a child. Together, with the support of many incredible people today, I am proud of who I am and I am learning to see just how important my survival and healing has been; this is the path so that I could encourage others to be the ones to help end the cycle of harm we have been teaching throughout centuries. Our children are not for trade or sale. Our children are not objects for sexual gratification. Our children are not born to be destroyed by the parents who should love and protect them. Our children are soon going to be the next generation in charge, what will they know? Will it only be pain, sadness, violence, degradation? It’s never to late to be a powerful force of positive inspiration in a child’s life. Hopefully you will not turn away from the opportunity to truly leave an impression on a child in your circle.

Thank you for any time or consideration you have given here in what I’ve shared. You can contact me personally by emailing, butterflydreamsteam@live.com or trish.mcknight@live.com . You will find links below for the organization of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery & Butterfly Dreams Talk Radio. Spread the message through telling your own survivor story or by sharing the truth of how dark the evil can become inside this man-made hell for children. We cannot allow these ongoing crimes of human destruction. Please stand strong, be proud, and be a voice in ending the repeated generational teaching of silence and tolerance within our family unit.

We have the duty today, the knowledge, the studies, the many thousands of adult survivors who share the horror they endured. How many more human beings will we permit to be used, sold, traded out, and forced into a life long pattern of self destruction. Please pass this on and help our society understand exactly what they can do to prevent these crimes and how every living being deserves to be happy, know the feeling of love, and most of all sleep in safety without fear of the hand covering their mouth and taking away their most powerful protection, the power of their own voice.

Together we are empowering our society to defend our children, connecting hearts & holding hands of help around the world.

Thank you,

A note from the author: Hope, Courage, Change in our society

You see this bright blue eyed cutie; well I thought she was gone forever. I really thought they, my parents, had destroyed all that was wonderful about her. However, I feel her and she is right here with me always. She lives inside and still reminds me everyday; now I am safe, loved, and respected for the simple person I‘ve become. She is right there to guide me through and always brings joy to my heart. She has endured vicious and ugly wounding, but she is still very much alive. She has doubted herself constantly, felt truly unworthy of ever being accepted, and lost all hope of ever finding love. She has risen above their pain to laugh once again, to feel blessed once again, to shine those incredible blue eyes and pray that the world will hear her voice. Every time a survivor who has read her story, ‘My Justice’, she prays they find their one stand of hope to keep them going and know that they too matter; their pain is just as tragic but with patience and reconnecting with who they are, they too will shine as they deserve and live in all the beauty, just as they should have done before the dark storms of pain turned them inside out.

‘ My Justice is read by the hundreds of those who have the power and the contacts to pass it forward and let her story be told. One day she will be heard. One day her determination to change what has infected her family so horribly will be recognized for the evil it was back then. Its not about her rescue, for she has survived beyond all comprehension. Its not about being recognized, for she is definitely loved by many. Its not about the sadness she has carried, for the tears are all dry by the tender hands that hold her. It is about what this child has to share so that no child should suffer this horrendous pain ever again. It is about what this child has to say that just might change your thoughts, give you hope of a better tomorrow, and most of all to share the love she feels inside for all those who have endured the pains of harm and have themselves conquered the demons within to rise above and truly laugh in love‘s warm embrace.

If you have read her story, ‘My Justice‘; I pray for those still struggling, still trying to hang in there, still trying to conquer and escape that you will pass it forward to another. Let her voice be heard, let her justice be felt, as she has now removed the coal stained hand that crept into her world and took away her greatest weapon of protection, the hand that took away this precious child’s voice and silenced her in evil until one day the sun shined down on the person would once again breathe life into her soul. Thank you my friends for accepting and loving me in all my imperfect, but still so truly bright and shining ways.
