President Obama back in Springfield Today….

First KPLR News 11 announced the expected Presidential Speech today sharing his thoughts on National Budget and the huge Budget Crisis in Illinois these past eight months.

Daily Herald out of Chicago, Journalist Mike Ripello, has written this article for today’s expected speech..

Now they say only a credentialed persons will be allowed in the Capitol Building today, even employees are out. There will be a small gathering at a local Art Venue afterward, but those are also a select few who can attend.

Nine years ago President Obama stood in the same place as Abraham Lincoln did many years ago when he announced his Presidential Campaign. Now as we all know in America, #PresidentAbrahamLincoln is the one president who actually did something amazing for our country, he gave equality to all mankind.

In the past year I’ve been collaborating with Dana Pfeiffer of Grounds of Grace & Lisa Chilton of Violence Prevention Center SW IL; together we have met with House Representative Jay Hoffman; States Attorney Brendan Kelly; U.S. Attorney Fairview Heights Office; Congressman John Shimkus. Dana and I have done about 5 or 6 speaking presentations at U of I Springfield, Lindenwood, Prevent Child Abuse Illinois, and a few Anti Human Trafficking events in Effingham, Springfield, Vandalia. I personally have collaborated with Kailyn Hill, legal writer for House Representative Office. I’ve also recently submitted five years of research to Assistant Attorney General Jessica O’Leary.

Each meeting, speaking event, and collaborating work has been based on Updating Illinois Legislation in our Statute of Limitations and Prosecutorial Guidelines for Violent Crimes Against Children. Last March after receiving an expected rewriting amendment

#HB 3242, finally providing Involuntary Sexual Servitude of a Child; Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child; Forced Servitude; Criminal Sexual Abuse of a Child – HB 3242 Amending a 20 YEAR AFTER VICTIMS 13TH BIRTHDAY in Illinois for these crimes.

Last March, I received a statement – ‘We regret that due to recent budget crisis in Illinois, we are unable to address the proposed amendment #HB3242 at this time. Hopefully we will be able to address this next session in September. Well, September came and went, and NO, I’ve never heard anything but a ‘NOT AT THIS TIME’ statement from all of the persons named above.

The most recent response, no responsibility of responder, Assistant Attorney General Office Of Policy, but rather our Legislative Leaders, ‘We do not have the budget to introduce any new bills at this time.’ Continuously I am told how incredible the justification and laws already in place to defend the amendment to better protect ALL children, across our nation and around the world. However, even in election year, the massive numbers (3.7 Million Criminal Reports of Maltreatment & Sexual Abuse) these are the plus numbers of children being reported hurt in our country every year and growing in the past ten years; even with all of this and the Congressional Statement of 2012 in addressing Adult Related Sexual Assault – ‘For every ONE report that is made, at least SIX others are not’; allowing this same variable for children who live under the direct control of their parents, who are sometimes terrorized in physical and mental grievous injury ‘DO NOT EVER TELL OR I WILL KILL YOU’ –

Illinois Legislators, what happened to the greatest gift from President Abraham Lincoln, the one true Civil War where some 50 Million Soldiers died to give FREEDOM FOR ALL MANKIND ACROSS THE COUNTRY –

13th Amendment

Section 1.

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2.

Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

So for Illinois Legislative Leaders, Governor Bruce Rauner, President Obama – TODAY I ASK YOU ALL – When will it be time to address the constant disregard of those being hurt, molested, trafficked, trapped in servitude and fear – Leaders when will it be time to make all things equal and uphold the laws to PROTECT ALL PERSONS EQUALLY, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, even place of residence or economic standing? This 13th Amendment protects all persons, not just some. We have laws written at a higher level, United Nations General Assembly, Universal Declaration of Human Rights – Ensuring at the highest ruling of mankind, a guaranteed inalienable right to be free; free from harm & free from the fear of harm.

I am all for the full support and development necessary to protect Healthy Loving Family….we should all be so lucky to live in such a home. However, according to centers for Disease and Control, at least 1 in 4 homes are dealing with some form of violent or abusive action. As a survivor of one of the most grievous cases of child abuse in history, and still baring the disfiguring scars and broken decayed smile to prove it; we can never allow this to happen to another human being again- NEVER!!!

The below video interview with Rebecca Kimbel shows some very disturbing photos of what I look like today as the final result of what an ENTIRE COMMUNITY WATCHED HAPPEN AND WHISPERED ABOUT IN THE DESTRUCTION OF A CHILD THROUGHOUT THE 1970’s in Freeburg Illinois. My mother permitted late night special parties with grown men paying my stepfather a couple of bucks to come party with the little girl from about age 13, by 15 it is just the way it was and I did not dare complain, but many saw me beg for my life and still turned away. The school system, the law enforcement, the lack of medical and dental care, the bruises, lack of passing school grades and homework rarely done; regardless of every RED FLAG I COULD POSSIBLY FLY – it was all still ignored for six consecutive years. Yes, it is one of the worst cases of child abuse, forced sexual servitude of a child, exploitation of a child, criminal sexual abuse of a child, extreme neglect of all basic necessities of a child – all of these crimes and not to mention how many times a week I was beaten to a pulp for some stupid reason or another, even putting on a pair of Flannel Pajamas like they had some type of special force that would protect me from the vile acts I tried to escape.

When will we have a budget necessary to begin simply teaching the RIGHT TO BE SAFE? iS IT LIKE TRYING TO DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE THE FINANCIAL NEEDS TO BRING A CHILD INTO THIS WORLD? If so, NO Parent is ever actually ready for a child, but when you bring them into the world, the law is very clear they are your responsibility UNTIL YOU CAN NO LONGER TAKE CARE OF THEM OR YOU ARE HARMING THEM. Sadly, our Family Court and Social Services are all directed to guide reunification, despite reports of maltreatment and regardless of ability to care for the child. They are not the State or Government’s problem, and since they cannot vote, their voice is ALWAYS disregarded. It has been stated by Childhelp America – ‘A child must tell 7 different people about their pain before someone will actually listen and believe them enough to help them’. A young person barely has enough courage to tell one person about their horror, much less seven.

Technically in trying to gather support and get a Federal Mandate protecting young persons; I’ve been rejected by SEVEN – will I find someone that really believes the data & studies put together before ever bringing this request forward. If I didn’t have the data to prove what I say, how I feel, and what is absolutely necessary – I certainly would not be trying so hard again and again, rejection after rejection, to do something so society will listen.

When will we have a leader that will open the door and step inside the crime that happens every single day, in every single neighborhood and apartment building; sometime happening day after day, year after year; holding the quiet tears of a young person who cannot refuse, cannot fight back, and cannot run away. These should be our highest priority in our strength as a human society today, but somehow we just DO NOT HAVE THE BUDGET TO INTRODUCE ANY BILLS OR MEASURES AT THIS TIME.

President Obama I beg you sir, If you really want to cause and create the greatest change for all persons in our society today; ADDRESS THE FAMILY CRIME STATUTES & PUBLIC POLICY PROVISIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. Our kids need us to pay attention NOW!!

Thanks for reading,

If you agree and believe that change is absolutely necessary, if you are a survivor who wants to share their voice to speak for children today, if you are a warrior of a resource of help – we need you to collaborate together across the country.

As said by Ms. Rebecca Kimbel & Ms. Stephanie Mann (Safe Kids Now National Network)

‘A single voice can never be heard in the forest, so we must be a Forest of Voices to help put the ‘Good’ as intended in our belief in God’

Ask your legislators why they feel it is not important to address this issue at this time?

Most grievous cases of child abuse on record

In researching information on ‘The most grievous cases of child abuse on record’, I want to share with you some of these highlights. These are not just cases in America, they stretch around the world. These are five of the worst cases that pop up in my Google search result. In reading these, definitely horrific cases, I’m not certain if these are the worst, as I can think of persons spoken with at 40 survivors (some 10/12 men, some 20/25 women, about 4 teens) who made it through years of heinous sexual and ‘terroristic physical trauma’. I invite anyone who wishes to share their story to comment here. If you don’t wish others to know, create a fake identity and share your story so others know that your voice is one of the millions silenced every year.

Sadly the details of grievous violent & sexual harms to children are rarely reported until it results in death of the child. More common than not, is a circle of community, educators, family friends, neighbors, schoolmates – but no one reports because they’re just not certain it actually concerns them at all.

Before these cases make our media headlines, someone has to be taken to court and forced to take accountability either in Criminal or Civil Liabilities. This means that someone has to be affected enough to consider these cases the most dismissed, the most brutal, the absolute worst cases in our history. What is worst of all, the type of punishment given to the offender, Family Offender; earlier history lesser punishments but gets slightly more equal to their crime as we try to address these heinous cruelties which are dismissed by many then tragically end in death for the child…..As of this date the years of physical & sexual attacks against our children are RARELY punished at all, and most are given mild sentencing compared to the lifetime altering trauma of their victims.

Here’s a few for you to review…..Links attached to resource information

Mekhi Boone – March 13, 2013 – ‘Not a 2 inch area of his body that wasn’t bruised’

Reports first began against child’s mother July 2009

Father – Had long history of Domestic Battery Offenses against mother and Mekhi

Paternal Grandmother – Nov 2012

Father – Given custody, after being recorded as ‘Not a candidate for custody’ in 2011

As this shares – No one in the State DCF/TFI visited to check on him after Jan 2013

‘Beat to death’ March 13, 2013 – lasting wounds, each in different stages of healing, some new’

No one, either from TFI or DCF, visited Mekhi after Jan. 13, 2013, the lawsuit says.

The worst ever seen

After a little less than two months without any contact from the state or TFI, Mekhi’s situation changed suddenly.

Davis brought Mekhi to the Hiawatha hospital on March 3, 2013. Mekhi was unresponsive. Davis said the child had fallen down 30 stairs.

According to the lawsuit, Davis spoke of behavior problems with the boy. Hospital staff who removed Mekhi’s clothing saw bruising and abrasions all over his body in various stages of healing.

Mekhi had multiple injuries, including internal bleeding and bleeding on the brain. He was taken by helicopter to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

At Children’s Mercy, doctors diagnosed Mekhi with severe traumatic brain injury secondary to child abuse, a skull fracture, mid-line shift of the brain and multiple bruises. The diagnosis didn’t match the explanation Davis had provided.

“Children’s Mercy personnel including a medical doctor who had observed approximately 15,000 victims of child abuse, described (Mekhi’s) injuries as the worst ever seen for a child that age, and that there was not two inches of (Mekhi’s) body that did not have bruising on it,” the lawsuit reads.

On March 4, Petry — the DCF worker who had told TFI in July 2012 that Davis wasn’t a placement option — visited Mekhi in the hospital. She wrote in her case activity log that Mekhi had been “beat to death.” She noted Mekhi showed signs of sexual abuse as well.

Sexual abuse of children and teens by Priests of the Roman Catholic Church 2008

As many as 800 victims have filed charges, one Priest “O’Grady”; more than 200 victims throughout his years in the church.

O’Grady, having served half of a 14-year prison sentence, is now living in his native Ireland after being deported from the US in 2000.

Carnation couple charged in “worst case” child abuse of teen daughter –

Prosecutors said the couple were investigated by Child Protective Services in 2005 when the girl reported being locked in her room for extended periods of time. The CPS investigation concluded that the allegations were founded after Long admitted to locking the girl in her room, but the case was not referred for criminal prosecution, prosecutors said.

According to police, the girl said her stepmother disciplined her by “restricting her water intake” to about half of a small Dixie cup per day.

The girl and her brother “were forced to sleep on the floor in the same room as their parents, and a heavy dresser was pushed in front of the door to keep her from sneaking out and getting water.”

That happened after the girl was caught one night sneaking out of her own room to drink water from the toilet, according to police. She told police she feared her stepmother would hear the faucets if she used them. For food, police said, she was mostly given toast.

The stepmother, who did not work outside the home and claimed to be home-schooling the children, also directly monitored her stepdaughter’s showers and bathroom habits “to keep her from surreptitiously drinking water,” police said. Showers were restricted to every two or three weeks.

The girl told police that her stepmother once duct-taped her hands behind her back and dunked her head in the toilet to discipline her.

If convicted of first- and second-degree criminal mistreatment as charged, Pomeroy and Long could face three and four years in prison, according to King County prosecutor spokesman Dan Donohoe.

Women to be released after committing the worst case of child abuse in history.

Over the last fifteen years I have followed story after story of abused children. However, the case of Baby Briana has resonated in my mind from the first day I saw it ten years ago. Autopsy results showed Brianna Mariah Lopez, 5-months, 5-days old, died from cranial cerebral injuries. She had bruising and scraping injuries throughout her head, as well as on her upper forehead.
Baby-Briana’s died on July 19, 2002 in Las Crucens, New Mexico. She was only five months old when she was pronounced dead in the Memorial Medical Center emergency room at 11:10 am. The reasons of her death, child abuse.
Brianna had 13 human bite marks all over her body and head. There were extensive injuries to her head and fatal injuries to her brain. She had bleeding in the brain as well as around the nerves of her eyes. Her skull was fractured in two places, there were two rib fractures, two more on the thigh bones of each of her legs, and a fracture to her left arm. She had also been raped by the ones who were supposed to take care of her, her father and uncle.
Brianna was a victim of child abuse, considered by many people as perhaps the worst case in New Mexico history. Her parents, Stephanie Lopez and Andy Walters, and an uncle, Steven Lopez were convicted and are in prison.
The abuse started almost immediately. Instead of hugs and kisses Brianna received slaps and pinches. She was tormented on a daily basis, both verbally and physically. Slapped, kicked, punched, pinched, thrown, raped, etc. You name it this infant endured it.

‘Illinois Miracle’ Disputed After Child-Abuse Cases

During a drug raid on the far South Side on Saturday, the police found a 3-year-old boy chained by the neck to a bed in a foster home where they also found cocaine, cannabis and unregistered firearms. On Friday, responding to a teacher’s aide’s report of child abuse, the police found six youngsters — all former wards of the state — locked in an unheated basement with no food or toilet and only a quilt and a few pillows to cover the concrete floor.

”It’s horrifying when we see a case like that, but that is not typical of foster care in Illinois,” said Martha Allen, chief of staff at the state’s Children and Family Services Department, whose inspector general is investigating the cases. ”Every now and again we have incidents where something bad has happened in a foster home — the answer can’t be, don’t put kids in foster homes anymore.”

(x6) 1AIn 2012 during the increase measure of concern about sexual assault, Congress released a statement –  ‘For every 1 report of sexual assault that is made, at least 6 others are not’ – This statement was confirmed by Congressman John Shimkus, Sept 03, 2015

According to DHS breakdown of this report into National Children’s Bureau FFY 2011

  • More than 75 percent (78.5%) suffered neglect
  • More than 15 percent ( 17.6%) suffered physical abuse
  • Confirmed reports provide (9.1%) suffered sexual abuse – remember X6 Rule

The National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS) report for FFY 2011 reflects the following breakdown in perpetrators:

A) Parents of child = 80.8%

B) Other Relative    =   5.9%

C) Parent Partner    =  4.4%

D) Other Known      =  4.5%

**E) Stranger Danger =  2.1%**

Parents, Parental Partner & Other Close Relative = 91.1% of all maltreatment offenses

Female Offenders = 53.6%              Male Offenders = 45.1%

Age vs Offense

Children ages 1-6 are most often victims of physical abuse & neglect. Mothers are most likely to be the offenders

Children ages 6-15 are most often targets of sexual abuse, and sex trafficking. Reports in these files show MALES make up 94% of recorded sexual offenders. However history shows that Mothers are not commonly suspected; in truth many are compliant in sexual harm of their children, which occurs for various reasons.

**MOLESTATION LEAVES NO PHYSICAL SIGNS!! Molestation can occur at any age, even though we never want to consider our partner or a parent (or an older child) of committing such a heinous act. The signs of molestation are simply severe irritation of the genital area, rash around mouth, or other uncommon types of signs. Spotting molestation requires understanding age appropriate behaviors & interactions with others

Illinois Statutes –

Confirmed Illinois Statutes:  720 ILCS –

* Child Physical Abuse – statute of limitations is only 1 year after 18th bday.

No SOL beyond age 18 for aggravated battery of a minor

* Physical Battery Against a child 13 & under- the crime can only be prosecuted if it is reported within 1-3 years of when the actual crime was committed.

* Sexual Abuse – Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault (weapon display or threat) & Criminal Sexual Assault with a family member under the age of 18 or a non-family member under 18 in which case it was forced – 20 years after age of 18 is SOL.

* Involuntary Servitude/Sexual Servitude/Trafficking of a family member (720 5/10-9) – SOL 1 year after age of 18 only *** We have a proposal to extend this one. The trafficker can be charged for a sex crime – if they directly had sexual contact with the minor. But, if those who take part in sex acts cannot be found and prosecuted under sexual crimes…the trafficker goes free if we do not catch them within a year of the victim’s 18th birthday.

* Forfeiture Provision – There is some allowance for the abusers assets being taken away in order to care for the child, but no solid provisions.

Discussed with our local U.S. Attorney Office, Fairview Heights, Il – Sept 2015

There is no Federal Legislation in Illinois for grievous, sexual, trafficking/servitude acts against a child unless the victim is able to testify against their perpetrator. Tragically inability to understand, to verbalize in exact explanation to others as required by young victims, inability to feel safe, believing in the fear/threats/terror/torture; a young victim will never tell anyone about their harm.
Permit me to add a personal note here——
For the some 30,000 plus who have apparently either listened to my radio programs or read a previous post, know of a Social Media share about my case – This most recent personal interview with TV Producer/Toastmaster/Host – Ms. Rebecca Kimbel published Feb 1, 2016 – You will see extremely graphic and shocking photos of the scars I still carry physically from what I believe is the most grievous case of Child Destruction in Illinois; perhaps even across the country. As you will hear about some of the violently disturbing acts in Part 1 of this interview, Part 2 discusses PTSD; Community Abandonment; Participators in trafficking & public exploitation; more importantly what YOU need to be looking for in children around you right now.

I’m amazed at the hundreds who have changed their lives, found courage to seek help and speak up. This true horrible story sadly still impacts my grandchildren’s lives. It’s not about making it big, it’s about making it end!

Honestly I’m quite stunned by the way this story has made it so far. College courses, outstanding five star reviews, and absolutely incredible press articles shared across the country. From New York to Australia, to the U.K. and in the San Francisco Journal. Even more important for me are all those persons who read this and then passed it on to someone still lost in the pain and silence. Find your voice, share your story, it will touch someone’s heart somewhere. xoxoxo Trish

Who are the forever silenced victims of Family Crimes?

NewCapitolBldng        Justice Has A Name The forever silenced victims of crime are not those killed, but rather those still living in the broken destruction of their pain. It could be your Uncle, Brother, Sister, Mother, or your best friend. It could be your neighbor, and tragically if we keep ignoring these ‘terroristic abuses’ within our families, we will have many millions more who are forced into silence and will become the next generation living in the aftermath of horror and pain.

Readers, I am asking you to help us finally address this painful topic of these many silenced victims of crime. I’m hoping you will review the petition to our President and all Legislators around the world. See how tragically these Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse have destroyed millions of lives and created such a huge financial impact in our National Deficit of the estimated $145 Billion Annually to prevent and help mend the lifetime impairments from those who endure abuse, violence, and trafficking.

Today we need to address the serious number of victims who are reported into our system every day.

***The 1 in 6 men who report Personal Violence against them by a partner or spouse.

***The 1 in 4 women who become victims of vicious attacks by dominating partners.

***The 3.7 Million reports of Child Maltreatment which show 1 in 9 reported sexual abuses and 1 in 3 who suffer violent attacks.

These are the silenced victims of Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse who walk among us everyday. We cannot help or save all of them, but by finally updating our systems of investigation and prosecution, victims support and recovery needs, and education concerning the Individual Right to Be Safe & Live Save;

WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO TEACH SILENCE AND TOLERANCE; PROTECTING THE ABUSERS AND MONSTERS WHO ATTACK WITHIN OUR FAMILIES EVERYDAY? When will it be serious enough for the once silenced victims and the many who are suffering today to stand up and tell our governments to help us end this and hold these monsters accountable for their CHOICE to inflict terror, threat of grievous injury, even possible death if they do not comply with every enforced demand.

**ILLINOIS – CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS!!

**AMERICAN CITIZENS – CONTACT YOUR GOVERNORS!!

**HUMAN BEINGS – STAND UP FOR YOUR ULTIMATE RIGHT TO BE SAFE!!

Family Crimes NEED LAWS TO UPHOLD AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF THOSE WHO HAVE NO VOICE, WHO ARE CONTROLLED BY THREATS OF GREIVOUS HARM OR POSSIBLE DEATH TO REMAIN SILENT AND PROTECT THE MONSTERS WHO ATTACK. THESE TYPES OF OFFENSES DESERVE ONE FEDERALLY MANDATED STATUTE ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF ALL PERSONS: without regard to age, gender, race, religion, economic standing, or residential location. Now we end the ongoing personal violations within our homes and hold these offenders responsible by enacting into law the following listed measures…..

Bullet Points – Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse

Trecia’s Law

We the people of our United States of America hereby sign our name to request our government entities implement the changes in our prosecuting statutes, civil liabilities, and social services directives to enact this amendment as written below…

1) Make the acts of detrimental child abuse, child sexual abuse/aggravated sexual assault of a minor, human trafficking or other sexually related acts against a person under the age 18 a FEDERAL OFFENSE.

2) Enforce mandated training for a Zero Tolerance when law enforcement, healthcare professionals, or our public educators suspect a family abuser or other party within the home who is using attacks of grievous harm or threats to prevent the victim of the abuse from accessing help or assistance.

3) Any permanently disfiguring or physical injury to the victim of abuse, should warrant harsher punishments, from 10 years to life in prison.

4) Adjust Statute of Limitations, criminal and civil, when there is any form of sexual interaction with a minor under 18 years old; no less than 20 years from the victim(s) 18th birthday and apply to all states across the country to meet a uniform prosecution process.

5) Forfeiture of any and all properties and assets of the offender at the time of prosecution. Forfeiture of these assets and properties should be awarded as victim’s restitution and/or reimbursement for the nation’s ongoing financial deficit in the provision of victims and/or family recovery services.

6) Any person who knowingly neglects or refuses to make a report concerning the well being of another party, especially a minor child, will be held accountable in a court of law with a sentencing minimum of $500.00 fine and/or up to 10 years in prison if that knowledgeable neglect to report these harms results in the death of a victim.

Public Policy Updates & Changes:

1) Implement Social Services directives to (Three Stage Review) for every report of child maltreatment reported by persons other then law enforcement, medical care, and/or educational professional.

2) Provide an immediate focus in knowledge based recovery support to meet needs of the victim, beginning and ongoing for a period up to 10 years from the prosecution ending date. Education and Recovery to assist in life skills education, home and parenting awareness, health care and family building blocks. y.

3) Societal Accountability, implement education and prevention strategies within every public school system to empower our youth to understand what their rights to life, liberty and security are and give them the tools to help end bullying, abuse, and/or violence among their peers.

4) Engage a Community Response Team to provide education and prevention in every small community, this should focus directly on Warning Signs & Prevention of abuse and/or violence, sex trafficking or terroristic types of harm, to better assess, report, assist and/or rescue victims and/or families in need. ******************************************************************************

**Note: these changes in our prosecutorial and civil remedies are to protect and educate about the types of terroristic personal attacks, specifically against a minor child, but regardless of what familial, foster, or governing state custody the victim(s) may reside as a physical address.**

There is a constant increase in these crimes; resulting in more than 1500 documented child deaths across the country every year related to severe neglect or physical harm. It is time to truly address the criminal and personal seriousness of these heinous crimes; creating a stronger frontline prevention by implementing measures at the States & Federal levels of our United States.

Our laws & policies must meet the needs of those harmed, but our society also must begin teaching our youth about their ULTIMATE RIGHT TO BE SAFE. The best place to begin providing these changes, is to protect all persons and ensure that we will prosecute at the harshest level possible for these viciously detrimental acts of what is nothing less than ‘terroristic abuse’ committed with malice and directed against persons within our home, especially our children; used to prevent ever reporting these attacks and protecting the abuser from prosecution.

Today I’m counting on the millions of adults who suffered for years waiting for someone to hear them, to see the harm and threat they lived within and are still forced into silence about today. The silenced victims have an opportunity to be heard. We have numbers together, creating strength together, and now is the time to climb out from under the shame. Let’s reclaim our lives, no longer terrified, but to ensure we stand strong to educate young victims today so they know they have a common given right to be safe; freedom from fear or threat of harm, freedom from sexual attacks or being sold for a few pennies by the monsters who have ultimate control over their lives.

There are many who will never be heard because the threatened, taught, and forced silence continues to trap them in a cycle of ongoing pain, self destruction, alcohol, drugs, and thousands who commit suicide as a result.

These victims of crime didn’t do anything wrong to bring on the attacks they suffered. They didn’t harm someone else, or cause any distress to those around them. They have fought endlessly, day in and day out, year after year, waiting for someone (anyone) to help them. They know if they come forward to acknowledge the crimes, brutal attacks and threats, which they suffered through for years; their professional careers and all they’ve built in trying to erase and change their past harm are at risk. However, if we remain silent and do nothing, we simply continue to teach tolerance and silence about what is the greatest harm of our human society, the true horror of Family Crimes and Terroristic Abuse.

Although today they are survivors trying just to live in whatever happiness they can create, there is a hole inside which carries the part of them who lived as a terrorized silenced child, struggling to keep control and still praying for someone to see just how badly they were wounded from their many daily battles.

How much longer should these forgotten and discarded victims of crime hide their pain in the shadows because our society is not ready to accept how truly ugly it becomes within the trapped environment of our homes? How much longer will they have to ignore their own tears, silence their screams, pretend nothing happened because it just doesn’t matter anyway?

What I’d like to ask of our society more than anything else, is to finally begin teaching our young children they have an Ultimate Right to Be Safe. They have a right to be free from any fear of attack, and also a right to Freedom of Speech. No matter who might have harmed them; the laws and services must be there for when they find the courage to seek help or rescue. Let’s not allow another person to grow up filled with anger, self hatred, pain, and dysfunction. We have to accept how challenging it is for children to suffer in the threatened silence and cruelty, then honor their courage and bravery to face the world each day.

Illinois Legislators will address House Bill #3242 as introduced by Illinois General Assembly Member, Representative Jay Hoffman. Today ILLINOIS we need to contact your legislators by email, phone, or letters demanding they accept into law changing Statute of Limitations from what is now, 1 year from victims 18th birthday to 20 years from victims 18th birthday, to allow victims time to escape and find safety to bring forth criminal and civil charges for the harm and deviate behaviors they were forced to endure.

Your time in reading and sharing this is much appreciated. We need media attention, we need all legislators to take part and speak for those who are the traumatized and terrorized silenced children of yesterday.

Thank you,

Yesterday friends it was so exciting to see the broadcast of personal interview with #EricSteltzer from #WANDtv, I-Team Investigation,NewsCenter17 Central Illinois. Survivors Advocate Patricia McKnight, invited by Ms. Dana Pfeiffer, Grounds of Grace, nonprofit, and Congressman Rodney Davis pushing measures to block web based sex trafficking. This interview may be too graphic for many, so please take care.

Sadly, there are more and more cases of child sex trafficking popping up in the unexpected small rural communities across America everyday. For this survivor the memories are no less than living with her own personal ‘Family Terrorist’ day in and out, throughout her entire childhood; ‘It was the night of my mother’s bridal shower, when I had just turned five. My brother and two neighbor boys were in the same room.’

Ms. Dana Pfeiffer, Exec. Director Grounds of Grace, is on the streets and in the homes of those in the Springfield & Jacksonville area. She’s found the most common form of human trafficking her organization is seeing with the victims they assist, it is family members using and selling the children in their home. The youngest victim they’ve seen, just 2 years old- and the oldest 68 years.

It is sadly an extremely profitable business as a human being can be sold time and time again. Unlike drugs or guns, a human being can bring in a profit over and over again. Personally, through her talk radio program, Patricia has interviewed others and the big warning she gives with regard to ‘terroristic acts of abuse’ is also to realize the Gang related human trafficking. The children in homes of alcohol, drugs, fear, violence are High Risk Children and the Gangs will lure them in for drugs or sex on our neighborhood streets, in our schools, and ONLINE!! One such woman, Samantha Kierra of Oklahoma was used as a teen by one gang and is now helping other young girls from falling prey to that same situation.

Patricia McKnight, a survivor of years of trauma and terror in Familial Sex Trafficking. The first time she was used in sex trafficking, she was just 11 years old and it occurred at a very public local bar in her small hometown of Freeburg, Illinois. Her stepfather’s instructions were direct and simple as he was getting her drunk on vodka & orange juice, ‘Go over there and play that jukebox girl. You best be shaking that butt of yours too. Make these guys want you so they’ll buy me some beers.’ It was then that he asked one of the young coalminer patrons, ‘How would you like to take my daughter outside?’

There have been many situations she says where he used & sold her for late night parties held at her childhood home. She would receive a call on a late Friday evening, and her mother turned away from her young daughter saying; ‘Have fun’ as she walked into her bedroom and closed the door, leaving Patricia to fend for herself.

Patricia tells us, ‘There would commonly be 10 or 12 men show up at our house. I would be the one as their toy, sent from lap to lap, this hand and that hand, this man and that man’; everyone permitted to touch and play with her as they filled her with alcohol and marijuana to lower her inhibitions.

Sadly this is a very common practice and as many community members knew back then what was happening, so they still do today. There are people around young children in unhealthy situations today; family members, family friends, neighbors, and others who see the outer signs of a self destructing child. These children are not allowed to talk about what’s happening because of the extreme threats of harm used to control and manipulate them. ‘It’s about protecting the predator/abuser in our family. It’s about making sure they are never arrested and that the child believes no one cares, no one will help them, they will be sent away if they tell.’

At 12 yrs old Patricia’s stepfather used his favorite shotgun to rip her insides apart after she asked her mother to help her , she wanted her ‘mom’ to make him stop his vicious molestations, exploitations, and trafficking of her daughter. ‘With her brother and younger sister downstairs watching TV, he called her upstairs and savagely used the shotgun barrel to rape her; with the threat of ‘blowing her head off from the inside out’, she never asked for help again.

There were however many outward signs of something horrible happening in her life. She made a conscious decision never to bathe in her home again. ‘It was his favorite room to trap me in’, she says in painful memory. ‘He would come in every time, from the time he first married my mother when I was five. He would disgust me in touching, probing, watching, instructing me to wash here, there, do this. I never felt clean and since my mother wouldn’t make him stop, I really had no other choice. I never bathed again for five years and the filth, stench, rot of my skin and teeth were a common discussion and teasing in school. It was also something that couldn’t be hidden’

There are many abusers who know exactly how and where to hit or harm you so that no one ever sees the wounds left behind. In her case, her skin grew covered with filth in every crevice of her young child body. Quickly infection started, and her skin covered with pus-filled, infected, deep pitted sores. It spread quickly as she lay in bed at night, scratching and digging in the filth covered skin, while waiting for her ‘family terrorist’ to come prowling around her room. From age 10 to 17, they lived in the center of this small coal mining town. She attended the same school system, engaged with the same circle of family friends and school mates. They all watched, yet didn’t know how to respond to the young girl who was commonly known as the tag, ‘Village Whore’.

Today she may carry the scars of her brutal past, but this survivor has published her story in the fact-based novel, ‘My Justice’ and built a credible website & talk radio network which gained more than 45,000 listens in the short 18 months of broadcasting. She has given her voice at venues from the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan, National Crime Victims Rights Week, Rescue & Restore, and in the wake of many trainings she’s attended and research to understand the aftermath of these battles, helping to ensure not another person suffers in this way; she’s developed Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery & the ‘Steps to Recovery’ presentation.

Remember that what’s happened throughout centuries has been taught human behaviors, so we can turn it around by teaching our children and youth today that they do have a voice. They can protect themselves from a dangerous person, dating friend, or a dangerous household. They can watch out for their friends at school and in their neighborhoods. Teach our kids that they can change the future and they are the beginning of the end of this vicious cycle of human suffering.

With the support we’ve been blessed to gain in wanting to help update our Criminal Statutes and Public Policy, Lisa Chilton (Director of Legal Advocacy St. Clair County & Educator Domestic Violence Offender Reform Program), Dana Pfeiffer (Exec. Go ahead, ask that child what happened, I dare ya?

Well its happened my friends. Yesterday myself and a very dear friend, a passionate advocate for the voices of those who’ve been harmed; Ms. Lisa Chilton, Legal Advocacy Director of St. Clair County Courthouse; we met with Illinois House Representative Jay Hoffman, and we introduced the proposal for the Family Terrorist Act – ‘Trecia’s Law’. (let me add here that Representative Hoffman’s career in establishing civil and just amendments to help our nation is remarkable, I am so truly honored to have been given his time and he did not rush me out Smile)

Google this – https://www.change.org/p/mr-president-help-your-american-society-protect-our-universal-declaration-of-human-rights-please-enforce-family-terrorist-act-trecia-s-law

Friends I cannot share the depth of passion I felt in my heart as I spoke with Mr. Hoffman. I was so nervous my hands were shaking. In my inner self I needed him to hear what I was saying; how much we needed to take time and address these issues. It is so horrifying to me that in our human society we still continue to turn silent about the one thing that matters most for OUR entire existence as human beings, alive and breathing. Tell me why are we afraid to ask the children we know, “What happened sweetie?’.

“Why didn’t you get your homework done these past three months? Why do you keep going out with every guy that comes your way? Why are you afraid of your dad coming home?”

You know, four years ago all I wanted to do was just tell my own story and get it out of my gut. I had been forced, then manipulated, then tricked into silence about all the many different levels and types of harm I had suffered over some 30+ years. It was tearing me apart that my life was a whirlwind cycle of emotions, reactions, and explosions which had almost destroyed my own children. My choice to leave their father after our 2nd marriage together in trying to keep our family together, my choice in how I played out that choice caused a beginning of pain for my children that I have carried so extremely heavy in my heart and still today, now 15 years from leaving my last violent attacker, it is the greatest regret I have but I guess in some ways they were being guided in a more appropriate life pattern than I may have given. It shows in my daughters’’ lives through the choices in men they take and the type of life I see them living. This is not what I wanted for MY BABIES. This is not why I begged God to give me that one true gift. Please they may have destroyed my physical body, but please do not take away that one true miracle, the miracle of children.

My goodness how precious a gift to have a child, but also what a heavy responsibility, especially when you have never had any safe or positive form of parenting yourself. How in the world can we possibly guide them through and protect them when so many of us have been infected with this disgust and distortion of what life is SUPPOSED to be. Now I know its not guaranteed to be perfect and become rich, or any other form of happiness, but dammit it must be protected and it must be SAFE!!! If a child cannot lay down their head in a quiet, SAFE PLACE then what are we about and what have we become as human beings?

Trust me, I know how mixed up and confused it is, especially when we have been blocked by the enforced silence that has built our entire lives. How bad is it that a person, any person, will live into their 40’s before they ever even think about telling a DOCTOR about what’s happened? We say to them all our lives, for those who ever had a choice to go to a doctor, we tell them they fell and hit their head, I tripped, fell off my bike, ran into a door, and what is even worse than this; the doctor’s still are too uncomfortable to ask that one true question that can begin to change their entire lives, ‘What happened sweetie; truly you can tell me.’

What is wrong with our teachings about life when we look away from our own children being molested silently by someone. Ok, so we don’t actually see the molestation go on, but we do see changes in that child. We see behaviors in our family functions together that show how that child is evolving under that haunting thought of why so many people don’t see what’s happening and if they do why don’t they ask, ‘What happened sweetie, you alright, something going on inside you need to talk about? Is there a secret thing that someone is telling you not to tell. What is it child, what happened?

Friends, we cannot play these games with our society any longer. Please take a look around you, where has it gotten us that we just can’t be faced with that child’s voice telling us something we don’t know how to handle. What’s worse is that you are the adult and you don’t know how to begin because you’ve never spoken about things that happened to you. You know that forced silenced, you know that feeling of not being able to EVER talk about what happened. You’re 35 years old and have never faced a single moment of what happened but you’re all confused in life. You don’t know your way through, you’re just trying to make it the best possible way you can. You have you’re mouth to feed, clothe, shelter, and maybe you even need family to help you out. How in the world can you every ask that child what’s happened?

When I published ‘My Justice’ it was about finding my way through. I was in a relationship I didn’t want to somehow screw up. I was in a good job and my children were growing up, my son had started college. I could not figure out why in the world when something was good in my life, for the very first time it was relaxed and SAFE. No one was touching me when I didn’t want to be touched. No one was grabbing my throat while I slept and trapping me in a fear of possible death if I didn’t do whatever it was they needed or wanted me to do at that moment. My life was fabulous and my insides were going crazy, especially as I was writing and in my own therapy, since I had been forced by my many medical issues onto disability; I started writing to my children and I needed to explain it all to them so that maybe it would somehow change things. I prayed with all my soul that somehow it would change what happened in the lives of my grandchildren, even if its not the life of perfection that it at least be SAFE, CALM, SUPPORTIVE. God heard my prayers with every word I’ve ever written, including this one. He’s hid with me and all those times I ran to the cemetery and begged Him to just take me out, He kept me going.

No I am not a church going religious person, in fact I’m terrified inside a church only because my stepfather ensured me through every single breath he took that I was never good enough to be accepted into Heaven, that I would surely be condemned for absolutely everything I’d ever done after age 12, which by the way is when his greatest level of torture ever began; the year he took my virginity with the barrel of his favorite shotgun and ripped me apart. Hoping that I would never be able to get pregnant and reproduce, enforcing his reign of control and making sure that I never took a chance to tell another living soul about what happened in our house and how he and my mother used me on so many levels of either seduction or physical labor. He made sure I never spoke against another person who ever touched me again in my life. He made sure that I felt like I didn’t deserve to breathe so why should anyone ever give a damn about what was happening to me. What’s even worse is that throughout all the physical rot that ate away my skin, took away my smile with the layers of plaque that had been there for years because I didn’t deserve a toothbrush. I didn’t deserve to see a doctor about the infection of pus filled sores whom so many many people avoided touching me at all for a decade. How much more public than taking that disgusting rotting child to the bar and teaching her how to shake her ass so her old man could have some free beers? How much more public than knowing in your circle of co-workers that Malcolm had a young daughter he liked to bring around to all the parties and shit. You could even pay in on a half barrel plus to come to the house. No you didn’t have to worry about Mona, she’d go to the bedroom and watch TV. Think she was kind of jealous that I wanted to have ‘Trecia Ann’ host the parties, sit on their laps, dance around with them and yeah, you’d better damn well shut the hell up when they start touching you girl, it’s nothing dammit’

That was the very honest truth of my life friends for nine consecutive long years. I went to the same school day after day from fifth grade to the middle of my sophomore year, which is when everything was at its very most evil and it just kept getting more dark every day. This was the life of a child whom not a single soul in that entire community who knew and talked about all that child did, but not a single person felt I deserved being asked,

‘What happened sweetie?’

How much longer will we do this people? How many more children and teens will we ignore when we know for a fact something’s going on in their lives? No it may not be as dark as the life myself and already at least 300 others I know have lived, but what if it is? Are you willing to take the chance that it won’t be that bad?

So darlins, its’ like this; Representative Jay Hoffman is definitely passionate about changing the path of histories like our generation have suffered, exactly like so many others before us. It has been a cycle of human destruction since back in the Roman days and further. We have seen human slavery at its very worst and we fought the battle that lost the greatest number of human beings in any war as 50,000 men lay dead on the ground in the bloodiest battle ever fought in our country, the right for every single human beings right to be protected in their person. We fought battle after battle and spent billions upon billions of dollars helping rebuild other countries who have been destroyed for not protecting and respecting human life & protective rights. Yet in all of those battles friends, we still cannot look at the precious little child that sitting next to us on Christmas and say to her, ‘What’s happened sweetie, you alright?’

Now I know when I found Facebook and started a little thing called talking, at first it was to let Y’all know ‘My Justice’ was being published and then it started as much more; writing to everyone then became a source for my therapy, which I still need on some levels. You caught my voice and many of you then started in PM’s with me. You were sharing you stories and what happened, as you also needed finally to tell someone. You needed to scream and you needed to have someone hear your voice say, Dammit Listen to Me!! We started a little group together, we started many wonderful two years of talk radio broadcast’s together and we’ve written and posted, commented and connected. I see all of you there who couldn’t or didn’t quite yet feel strong enough to tell the stories and share that broken, wounded soul; you are now amazing group leaders, strong advocates, and we have all developed in astounding ways together. It’s been an amazing journey my loves and I am so grateful that you’ve been their for me and I pray that I’ve been their for you. This is how we connect together and we change the future for our kids in our own special little way. We share through the internet and all the way around the world just how many injustices there are in our human society, and you know what; many have become devoted and strong in this mission, but others a few, they’ve become more focused on the fame of being the one than being able to be the one that make a true change, starting with your very own family and circle of friends. That’s how we make the greatest change my friends, we become strong enough to ask that child what happened.

Now my dears, is the part where I go back to praying. The next step Lisa is seeing if she can arrange a meeting with the Illinois State’s Attorney, Brendon Kelly to see how his office can help better address or even if its worth it, to create mandates to implement action on the Family Terrorist Act – ‘Trecia’s Law’. Representative Jay Hoffman was very open to conversation, supportive and listening to the needs I wanted to make sure we address in healthcare, education, and most importantly all three of us agreed on – empower and teach our children that it’s alright to tell someone about the secrets someone is forcing you to keep. It doesn’t matter if its Mom, Dad, Step Parents, Boyfriends or Girlfriends, even the kid next door. You have the HUMAN RIGHT TO BE PROTECTED IN YOUR PERSON!!! Not one single person has the right to even put a finger on you in a sexual or harming manner. You have the right to always be safe!!!! This should be strongest in our great country of America than anywhere else in the world. It’s what our country was founded for, so that no matter who you are you had the right to live &* breathe in being just who you were born to be, and that you do NOT have the right to lay a harmful finger on any other person. You are not better than or more deserving than that person next door or down the street. You may be more powerful than that child, but so what. How strong do you have to be to never lay a harmful finger on a three week old baby, or a six year old child, or a twenty year old mother, or a thirty year old man. Not one person isn’t given the protection of their person, because the United Nation’s Global Committee have written in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This Christmas Eve is so important to me. In a spiritual manner I am praying stronger than I’ve ever prayed before, and being more open in spirit than I’ve been since first finding my courage to speak up, tell my secrets, tell My Justice. This amendment we are asking our American Governing Person’s to review is how we can begin change in our own communities, within our own neighborhoods, and especially within our own families and ask that child, ‘What happened sweetie?’

So in my spiritual self I pray to God in Heaven above, if there is a way we can give back the importance of love and protection in our human society, please this is your chance to help us God, help us be strong enough and knowledgeable enough to teach our children that it is wrong for these harms to come to them. Teach them that if it is hurting them it should never ever be a secret, no matter if its actually them who is being hurt or if a friend at school or cousin Jimmy said something or did something that made them uncomfortable. Our Creator did not say that we are just born to procreate, but born to love each other in a spiritual respect of who we are as people. We cannot and should not ever allow the destruction of a human being on any level, but I promise you friends, if a child or a person is living with someone who is indeed their ‘Family Terrorist’ you WILL see the signs of change and trauma on that precious soul, no matter how old or young, we cannot ignore the dangers of those within our neighbors home any longer. See something, Say something – you have the adult duty to never turn away from the knowledge within your gut that something is most definitely wrong. You have the duty to your friend, your neighbor, even your own grandchildren, to make sure that they have a chance to know a safe life and lay down with their inner self in peace.

This Christmas I’ll be thinking of all of you. I’ll be hoping this writing or someone’s voice, or a person’s need will reach your heart and you will be the one to create that change in the most important place in the world, the love of your very own family.

Bless You, sweeties. Have a beautiful Merry Christmas and I’ll be waiting to hear back from the staff of House Rep Jay Hoffman after our New Year reigns in loves.

Here’s sending Magical Merry Christmas Wishes to each and everyone of you, be the change you want to see, be the one strong to ask that child –

WHO LOVES YA BABY?

Smooches y’all Smile
